In simple terms, Neuro-Linguistic Programming or NLP is learning the language of your mind.

Neuro-Linguistic Programming is the systematic study of thoughts (neuro), language (linguistic) and the scripts running our lives (programming).

As such, NLP is the study of excellent communication with yourself and with others to help you communicate what you want properly.

At Global Oak Tree Scholars (GOTS), all our teachers, whom we call coaches, will have the NLP for the Academics certification from ABNLP (American Board of Neuro Linguistic Programme).

By knowing NLP techniques, our A+ coaches can better understand the scholars and react according to their behaviour.

In NLP, we recognise that a person’s actions may not be a true reflection of who they are.

Our A+ coaches will evaluate a situation to isolate the intent behind the action from the action itself.

The coaches are taught there is no failure, only feedback. We then work towards finding positive solutions.

NLP is like a user’s manual for the brain. It can teach you how to become fluent in the language of your mind so that the helpful “server” that is your unconscious will finally understand what you actually want out of life.

In NLP, we have a saying: the conscious mind is the goal-setter, and the unconscious mind is the goal-getter. Your unconscious mind is not out to get you, rather, it’s out TO GET FOR YOU whatever you want in life.
