Easter Picnic

Global Oak Tree Scholars (GOTS) International School’s Easter picnic last week gave the young ones a chance to stretch their legs and have fun.

Held last Thursday, a day before the school’s term break, the picnic saw the scholars enjoy activities such as Easter egg hunt, parachute games, playing with bubbles and dancing.

They were also treated to a peanut butter making demonstration by Head of pre-primary Chithra Nair and storytelling time.

“For many, if not all of the children, this was the first time they had a picnic,” said Chithra.

“We wanted them to experience what it is like to have a picnic and to have some fun with each other before the short holidays.”

They were treated to healthy snacks such as vegetables and fruits as well as cakes, sandwiches, cookies and biscuits with homemade peanut butter.

The highlight of the picnic was the egg hunt as the scholars had to look for the eggs hidden all over their vegetable garden.
