Halloween Party

Halloween Party

It was a spook-tacular time at Global Oak Tree Scholars’ (GOTS) City of Elmina Campus, Shah Alam last Thursday as the international school organised a Halloween party.

The pre-primary scholars were decked out in their best costumes and went on a trick or treat journey to each of the primary classrooms.

The primary scholars too joined in the fun as they too dressed up – as did many of the coaches.

The highlight was the ‘House of Horrors’ organised by the pre-primary staff and scholars which had many screaming in delight, including GOTS co-founder Veronica Shepherdson.

“My pre-primary coaches told me they wanted to organise something for Halloween and boy, did they go crazy!” said a delighted Shepherdson.

“The little ones had a big part to play in the House of Horrors as they were the ‘monsters’ who were reaching out to touch us in the dark room.

“With the final year examinations coming up later this month, this was the final chance for everyone to let their hair down and have fun.

“Their biggest scare will come when they sit for the exams,” she joked.

Shepherdson added she was confident the scholars and coaches would be ready for the examinations from Nov 18-22.

“I must say, the scholars seem quite confident they will ace the exams. I have no doubt this will be true as we are perhaps the only school to have monthly assessments,” said Shepherdson.

“As such, we have been monitoring their progress and the parents too know what to expect.

“That is why they had no issues with us having this party and I’m delighted to see so many of them went all out to dress up and some of the costumes are amazing!”
