Online Hari Raya celebrations for GOTS family

Global Oak Tree Scholars (GOTS) International School celebrated Hari Raya with a virtual ‘get-together’ recently.

This is the second time the international school has had to celebrate Hari Raya online, due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We wanted the scholars to know that we are still thinking of them, even though we are far apart,” said GOTS International School co-founder Veronica Shepherdson.

“Hari Raya is a time for family, which we are, at GOTS International School.”

Among activities were making Hari Raya cards, poetry recital and presentation of e-cards.

Those who attended the virtual celebration also enjoyed Hari Raya cakes and cookies from the comfort of their homes.
