Just like how your home is a haven, we want Global Oak Tree Scholars (GOTS) to also be a place you are comfortable with.

Having taken steps to get the school ready for our pre-primary scholars who returned on July 1, we are also consistently cleaning and sanitising our campuses ahead of the return of the rest of our students later this month.

GOTS also purchased Anves disinfectant fogging machines for both its campuses at the City of Elmina and Bukit Jelutong in Shah Alam. This is on top of the Medklinn machines which are in every room.

Medklinn machines can clean the air we breathe and the surfaces we touch by rendering any sort of natural or man-made contaminant harmless at a molecular level.

By itself, it is capable of killing viruses and has been proven to be effective against MERS and SARS. Tests are being carried out on its effectiveness against coronavirus.

“We have always been using Medklinn and found it to be effective,” said GOTS co-founder Veronica Shepherdson.

“But we recently purchased two Anves disinfectant fogging machines to double the protection as we cannot take chances with the little ones.

“The Anves solution comes with Sirim certification so parents can be assured of its quality and safety.”

The solution is non-water based and is suitable for use in classrooms.

Besides those two steps, GOTS also uses Kangen water as a disinfectant.

Kangen’s 11.5 pH super cleaning water is an effective, inexpensive and clean alternative to harmful chemical cleaners. Kangen’s strong acidic water 2.5 pH is used to disinfect tabletops and counters.

“Kangen water has several pH levels – for drinking, cleaning, sanitising and even beauty. We have been using it since we started,” said Shepherdson.

“With this triple protection, besides the various SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), we are confident parents won’t have to worry about sending their children to school.”
