Global Oak Tree Scholars (GOTS) welcomes everyone back to school this week – including six new scholars who will join our family at the City of Elmina and Bukit Jelutong campuses.
The sextet comprises the Kua siblings – Eugene (aged 13), Elsa (12), Ethan (8) and Evan (7) – and Shaik Imran Khaleesh Shaik Mohamed Shaleem (13) and Mithraan Saravana Kumar (12).
All six had a preview of what to expect at GOTS via Google Meet with the international school’s welcoming committee upon signing up.
GOTS also sent each a welcome message and balloons to thank them for enrolling in the school.
“I’m so happy to welcome the six new scholars to our GOTS family,” said co-founder Veronica Shepherdson.
“Some of them have already sat in for the online classes and know what to expect. It is good to have them in school this week.”
The pre-schoolers returned to GOTS on July 1. Those in Year 5-9 checked in today while those in Year 1-4 will be returning on Wednesday.
“I would like to take this opportunity to thank our existing scholars and parents for sticking by us when schools were closed during the early days of the Movement Control Order (MCO),” said Shepherdson.
“Your faith and support for our online classes was what made them a success and helped ensure we finished the syllabus before our mid-term break.”
